Informative Book
I had promised myself that I wouldn't request any more spirituality books. I feel like I have read them all. I feel like I could write one. But this looked interesting and so I threw caution to the winds and ordered it. This is well put together and explains ayurvedic practices very well. I would put it in a beginner's category, and believe me, that isn't a bad thing. When Ayurveda is not part of one's culture, that makes one a beginner, in my opinion. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to learn more, or refresh their memory if the last book was read a while ago, which was my situation. This would make a nice gift for someone on a seeking path.

I bought this book with the account of my son. My son and his girlfriend are vegan. So I thought this would even make their lifestyle even better. But then, I wanted a copy myself, so I bought another time the audiobook version. I am not 100 percent through it yet, but I have learned so much. Also, without knowing it, I actually eat a lot of what is recommended for my dosha, which is Veta, my prominent one. Also, whomever will listen to me, I recommend this book to everyone! This is a way of truly loving yourself, so thank you Emily for writing this book in the "idiot" version, so it's very easy to understand! LOVE IT!!

Appreciated This Audio Book
I’m still really new with the Ayurveda lifestyle but have been hearing more about it from the Integrated Therapy center my daughter attends. I whole-heartedly agree with its beliefs and do believe that much of how we feel can be adjusted through an Ayurveda wellness plan. I've only just begun this journey but really enjoy what i am reading and exploring at this point. This book gives a good introduction for someone looking to research Ayurveda a bit more.

One of The Best Book
Emily is incredibly adept at translating Ayurveda and it’s principles for a novice audience while keeping the information interesting enough to retain the attention of those who may know a bit more. It’s truly a gift. This audiobook gives many tips that, while supremely simple to implement, possess the ability to have a profound effect. Even at a time when I feel far removed from any sort of routine, I never once felt condemned or overwhelmed by the advice this book provides. If you’re at all interested in wellness, Ayurveda, or just feeling a little bit better, this is the best place to start.

Beautiful Book
This book is so thorough and informative, and extremely interesting. Listening this guide was the first step in my journey to find balance in my mind and body (vata mind-kapha body). I use the vata grounding techniques and have implemented routines, and it has made such a difference in my anxiety levels!! The tridoshic kitchari recipe was also nourishing and helped my weird bloat/digestive issues. A plus is that the author has a series of other interesting books. it's pretty awesome, and the narrator is fantastic

Great book, well written, with lots of key points. I've dabbled in Ayurvedic principals for years and always like to add additional books to my library. Since this isn't my first book on the subject, I'm familiar with quite a bit of contents. I really liked the narrator. It made it easy to reference, and refer back to specific things. It's all about treating your body like a temple. With respect. Put good food into your body, and take care of it. It's a great resource and has me considering an Ayurvedic practitioner to help move me further along in my journey

But this looked interesting and so I threw caution to the winds and ordered it. This is well put together and explains ayurvedic practices very well. I would put it in a beginner's category, and believe me, that isn't a bad thing. When Ayurveda is not part of one's culture, that makes one a beginner, in my opinion. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to learn more, or refresh their memory if the last book was read a while ago, which was my situation. This would make a nice gift for someone on a seeking path.

Excellent quality
I bought this book with the account of my son. My son and his girlfriend are vegan. So I thought this would even make their lifestyle even better. But then, I wanted a copy myself, so I bought another time the audiobook version. I am not 100 percent through it yet, but I have learned so much. Also, without knowing it, I actually eat a lot of what is recommended for my dosha, which is Veta, my prominent one. Also, whomever will listen to me, I recommend this book to everyone! This is a way of truly loving yourself, so thank you Emily for writing this book in the "idiot" version, so it's very easy to understand! LOVE IT!!

Highly recommended
I’m still really new with the Ayurveda lifestyle but have been hearing more about it from the Integrated Therapy center my daughter attends. I whole-heartedly agree with its beliefs and do believe that much of how we feel can be adjusted through an Ayurveda wellness plan. I've only just begun this journey but really enjoy what i am reading and exploring at this point. This book gives a good introduction for someone looking to research Ayurveda a bit more.

Good audiobook
Articulately, yet crisply written book with breathtakingly beautiful and stunningly narrator. Ayurveda is a science so many could benefit from on a both a physical and spiritual level, and this book is the perfect, approachable introduction to this ancient wisdom for individuals of all ages, and lifestyles. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in Ayurveda, newcomers and long time students alike.

Very interesting
Emily is incredibly adept at translating Ayurveda and it’s principles for a novice audience while keeping the information interesting enough to retain the attention of those who may know a bit more. It’s truly a gift. This audiobook gives many tips that, while supremely simple to implement, possess the ability to have a profound effect. Even at a time when I feel far removed from any sort of routine, I never once felt condemned or overwhelmed by the advice this book provides. If you’re at all interested in wellness, Ayurveda, or just feeling a little bit better, this is the best place to start.

Excellent book!!!!!
This is a great comprehensive overview of the ancient system of Ayurveda. Emily Clark explains the many concepts involved in Ayurvedic health in an easy to understand and highly applicable way. I've recently started following some of the practices and already feel more energized and in touch with how I'm feeling physically, emotionally and spiritually. Thank you for making Ayurveda accessible!

Good book for beginners
This is a great book for anyone looking to learn the basics of Ayurvedic lifestyle. It has suggestions for a 21-day introduction into the lifestyle. What I like is that it offers a little more detail than what I found on YouTube but not so much info that it feels overwhelming. I have some familiarity with some of these principles but she offers the ‘why or why not to combine one thing with another. I really found this to be helpful. I’ve enjoyed reading this book and suggest.

I love the quality
This book is so thorough and informative, and extremely interesting. Listening this guide was the first step in my journey to find balance in my mind and body (vata mind-kapha body). I use the vata grounding techniques and have implemented routines, and it has made such a difference in my anxiety levels!! The tridoshic kitchari recipe was also nourishing and helped my weird bloat/digestive issues. A plus is that the author has a series of other interesting books. it's pretty awesome, and the narrator is fantastic

Get for beginners to Ayurveda
Great book, well written, with lots of key points. I've dabbled in Ayurvedic principals for years and always like to add additional books to my library. Since this isn't my first book on the subject, I'm familiar with quite a bit of contents. I really liked the narrator. It made it easy to reference, and refer back to specific things. It's all about treating your body like a temple. With respect. Put good food into your body, and take care of it. It's a great resource and has me considering an Ayurvedic practitioner to help move me further along in my journey
