This book is a life changer!
Ms. Emily Clark clearly explains the basics of Ayurveda, including brief personal anecdotes on how Ayurveda has made a positive impact on her own life. The organization of this book is easy to follow with excellent explanations on the uses of various herbs and ingredients, the purpose of certain practices, the clear modifications for each Dosha, the reason why behind every recipe and every aspect on how we can benefit from the principles of Ayurveda. I am new to this study. I’ve purchased several books and I’m enrolling in a course. So far, this book is my go-to for everything I need to begin my new Ayurvedic lifestyle. This book outlines ways to begin slowly so the listener isn’t overwhelmed. I highly recommend this book if you are curious about Ayurveda and need a guide on how to begin.

I purchased the audiobook and it’s fantastic!
As someone with chronic and sometimes debilitating illness, I needed to do something proactively and take control of my health. Western medicine has its pros and cons, but this has enlightened me to pursue a more wholistic approach in conjunction with western medicine. This book is a fantastic introduction to Ayurveda principles. My dosha is Kapha (didn't know what a dosha is!) and now know, how "off" my system has been. This dosha type is directly is associated with my being, and this book will help me balance myself to better health. It's an easy and understandable read and have already started some of the practices and suggestions this book has given me. Thank you Emily for a wonderful book! I also recently purchased her other audiobook about Reiki. Blessings!

The book contains time tested recipes that can easily be incorporated at one's own comfortable pace. My mom bought and listened all the audiobook in one day, and the next day woke up early and walked a mile with me motivated by what she had listened. I have referred to this book for years whenever I have a cough or cold or upset stomach or, or, or. This was a gift to a friend. I am only 1 chapter into the book and I already love it! For someone using this book as an introduction to Ayurveda, I think it is a great tool and guide! The book is well-written and easy to follow. This book is a life changer!
Ms. Emily Clark clearly explains the basics of Ayurveda, including brief personal anecdotes on how Ayurveda has made a positive impact on her own life. The organization of this book is easy to follow with excellent explanations on the uses of various herbs and ingredients, the purpose of certain practices, the clear modifications for each Dosha, the reason why behind every recipe and every aspect on how we can benefit from the principles of Ayurveda. I am new to this study. I’ve purchased several books and I’m enrolling in a course. So far, this book is my go-to for everything I need to begin my new Ayurvedic lifestyle. This book outlines ways to begin slowly so the listener isn’t overwhelmed. I highly recommend this book if you are curious about Ayurveda and need a guide on how to begin.

Supper Book

I purchased the audiobook and it’s fantastic!
As someone with chronic and sometimes debilitating illness, I needed to do something proactively and take control of my health. Western medicine has its pros and cons, but this has enlightened me to pursue a more wholistic approach in conjunction with western medicine. This book is a fantastic introduction to Ayurveda principles. My dosha is Kapha (didn't know what a dosha is!) and now know, how "off" my system has been. This dosha type is directly is associated with my being, and this book will help me balance myself to better health. It's an easy and understandable read and have already started some of the practices and suggestions this book has given me. Thank you Emily for a wonderful book! I also recently purchased her other audiobook about Reiki. Blessings!

Valuable Information
The book contains time tested recipes that can easily be incorporated at one's own comfortable pace. My mom bought and listened all the audiobook in one day, and the next day woke up early and walked a mile with me motivated by what she had listened. The bond that was generated made both, my mom and me better. Good healing guide book.

An Informative Book
I have referred to this book for years whenever I have a cough or cold or upset stomach or, or, or. This was a gift to a friend. For those of you who don't run to physicians immediately and know that antibiotics are to be saved for real emergencies, this is a wonderful way to maintain your health and cure minor ailments by going to your spice cabinet. The Remedies work. Easy listening of Ayurvedic concepts.

Amazing Resource
I am only 1 chapter into the book and I already love it! For someone using this book as an introduction to Ayurveda, I think it is a great tool and guide! The book is well-written and easy to follow. I find that I can easily follow along with the history of this practice without feeling that the book has over-simplified it or that it is too complex to comprehend. I'm excited to listen to more! AUTHOR: I have other her books and they are amazing! QUALITY: The narrator is great!

Helpful Information
This book was well organized and full of great information. The introduction is a wonderful overview of Ayurveda followed by an encyclopedia of illnesses and remedies. The book is full of information explaining the basic principles of Ayurveda, includes a survey to help you identify your primary dosha, explains how to stay healthy with diet, lifestyle and meditation and is overall a one-stop guide to living a happy life.
