©2023 Nora Phoenix (P)2024 Nora PhoenixI was waiting to see if Auden would find love again after his divorce. And he sure did. With an unexpected person. He finds, with the a little explanation of his friends, he is pan sexual and Keaton is his person. I love how he just acceptes who he loves.
Keaton is new in this small town and has uprooted his sons to find a better way live for especially his older teenage son.
Auden and Keaton meet in not the best set of circumstances, a friendship grows and more follows. My one gripe, Keaton his lack of confronting the mother of his children earlier on. That bugged me a since all the gaslighting signs are there.
My biggest plus are the older main characters, 40+, and their friends. I love that they have lived a little and are still there giving love and live another chance.
I do appreciate that Nora makes blending families, relationships with exes realistic. It has no cookie cutter solutions or experiences.

This was my second listen to this book and I can surely say Michael Dean does not disappoint. For me he is on point throughout. 5*

Wonderfully described to the point I could visualise these silver foxes, seriously could they get any hotter.
I am loving this series about hot silver foxes finding love again later in life. Perfect.
Michael Dean did a great job narrating this book, which he always does, which helped bring the characters to life and a whole new immersive experience.
