Summary

Rebuilding a life while still missing an identity isn't easy, but that's what Adara's determined to do. It's why she's been ignoring the overtures from an elegant vampire and the stalking by an overprotective werewolf.

However, when a mysterious presence begins to haunt her memories - and dreams - wakening a primal terror, she has no choice but to ask for help.

The problem is, unraveling her secret past seems to be triggering demon attacks. Someone doesn't want her finding answers.

Adara might be forsaken, but she certainly hasn't been forgotten. For he is coming after her....

Contains mature themes.

Not for me.

That was a struggle to finish. Its all so sad and down . I am certain some light relief could have been woven in. I regret not following my instinct after the 1st book to leave the 'forsaken' alone.
I have the 3rd book, it goingto be sometime before I listen. I hope it has a better feel than this one.

Not really impressed with this book.

I normally like Eve’s books and stockpile them to read on my kindle. Wasn’t really taken with this book. Carried on reading waiting for it to improve, but it didn’t. Eve’s books are really captivating but I was disappointed this time. It was like the whole book was the start of the journey but not one character had any real depth for me. There was no middle or ending. Sorry Eve.
