Wrong narrator for this story.
Ms Wise would be perfect if the story was set in the UK, but as it is, her narration prevents you from really getting into the story. The Boston setting, language and characterization just don't work when read with an English accent.

Can’t get past British accent for Boston
I was trying to absorb the story and characters through the British accent but it became too much work to filter it out. I couldn’t get past the accent when the characters and location are so pivotal to Boston. I’m sad and disappointed because I think it is a good series and was looking forward to it. The narrator did a great job and I normally have no problem with the accent and usually enjoy it. But for this series based in Boston, it didn’t work

Ok
I feel like the storyline was shallow. Would have been more engaging if the details were fleshed out a little more. Also, while the narrator did a fine job - trying to wrap my head around Boston when the voice is English took something away from the experience for me.
