About this listen

Avalon Spy Academy rules: spy on the fey, resist falling for your mentor, and try not to die in the process.

I spent five years saving up for a European vacation. But instead of drinking champagne on the beach, I get swept into a war of espionage between the humans and the fey.

It turns out, I have a magic power needed to fight an evil fey king. I'm quickly whisked off to an elite spy academy in a hidden realm. There, in the ancient and gothic halls of Avalon Tower, snobbery and brutal competitions are among the oldest traditions.

As if I didn't have enough trouble, my new mentor is Raphael Launcelot, a maddeningly sexy demi-fey who already ruined my life once. I can't fall for him again. Romance is forbidden here; a distracted spy is a dead spy. So I need to push his dangerous allure out of my mind as we travel into the Fey realm. If we get captured, we’ll die horrific deaths–and humanity won’t stand a chance.

If you liked Frost and City of Thorns, you will love Avalon Tower.

I loved the FMC and her romance was done beautifully. Very much a slow burn. Loved that there were dragons too. B613 from Scandal meets a fae spy academy. Can’t wait to read Vale of Dreams!

Unique paranormal fantasy romance!

I have really enjoyed this book. Its not the greatest ever written book, but I really enjoyed listening to it. The basis of Camelot and Merlin and all that jazz has been fun. Mia and Raphael! 😘
Mia is clever, has a good heart and is able to do cool stuff with her magic.
It's a good story and I am looking forward to reading the next book!
The narrator is very good as well! ☺️

Great

absolutely awesome, as soon as I realised this book is all about Camelot and king Arthur and the knights I loved it. The humour and the storyline are hilarious and interesting, I love the characters especially the two main characters. The dream stalker is surprisingly interesting, and if I'm being honest, very alluring. I enjoyed the academy bits, A certain snob who's name I'm struggling to spell who I found both annoying yet funny. This is definitely a series I'm looking forward to, I can't wait for the next installment. The cliffhanger moment at the end is going to drive me crackers, my mind is already trying to figure out what is happening.

just a bus.

Great story line, really enjoying it, can't wait for the 3rd book in the series.

loved it

While the idea behind this book is good, the writing was quite basic and lacked real feeling. The FMC was quite annoying and stupid, the MMC would not have been into her. Sadly I just didn't get drawn in.

Great premise but lacked finesse and annoying narrator
