The Brothers Freed Melts the Ice Queen!

I enjoyed the story & the characters, you can really feel for Louise, she has had a rough life because of a screwball of mother yet she till looked out for her. The brothers, Max, Bryce and Hudson have also had rough lives and a lot of baggage, you only get a glimpse of who they are in this book, hopefully there is more to come as the series continues. This a great story to enjoy on a cold rainy afternoon, it is short but packs a lot with some intense storylines, drama and heat! This is the my first Bea Paige novel it will not be my last, I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. Thanks for the great read!

I listened to the Audible Version of the book, Tina Scott does a great job narrating. She performs the voices of all the characters, switches vocals effortlessly and tells the story in a perfect flow with the right amount of dramatic flair. Thank you for a great listen!

Reverse Harem

Avalanche of Desire by Bea Paige is a contemporary reverse harem that I listened to on audio narrated by Tina Scott.

This is the first book of Bea’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. The book does end on a cliffhanger so I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the series Storm of Seduction.

Tina did a great job on the narration. I loved that she used different voices/tones for each character. I noticed a few spots throughout the book where a phrase was repeated but not enough to distract from the storyline.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Contemporary Romance, Reverse Harems, or Steamy Romance.

Steam, snow and sexy men, what more do you need?

I loved the way Tina Scott brought these characters to life, and the accents she used made it easy to realise who was who which was brill. I also love that a British written book was read in a Brit accent!

Ok, so, firstly...where can I get myself a set of Freed brothers??? And secondly WTAF...how can you leave it there??? I mean, you make me fall in love with the characters and then you end it like that!!! That being said I really love this story, from the beautiful setting to what goes on with all the characters. I enjoyed watching the way the characters grew and changed over the course of the story. A really great start to a new series.

Misfits and lovers.

A reverse harem romance that had three scared men and one scared girl. They all had crazy childhoods and mothers that shaped their adult life. The relationship that developed was hard and feels that was so up and down made me feel like I was on a rollercoaster. A good story and enjoyed the narration by Tna Scott.

I NEED MORE!!!

The only complaint I have about this that I have to wait for the next book!!! It took me a few chapters to get into this one but once it happened, I COULDN'T STOP LISTENING!!! I love the men in this book and each of their personalities are so unique but work so well together. The story was engaging and the antics of the men had my attention focused solely on this audio.

So, I lied, I may have more than 1 complaint.... Unfortunately, I am not the biggest fan of the narration of this book. I understand that the characters and British and have accents, but I felt the accent used here was too thick and made some parts hard to understand. I also wish the narrator would have focused more on the voices she used for the 3 men. The voices used sounded out of place to the characters.

Cute, sexy, short but sweet. Characters are fun, quirky, my only wish was to have gotten a better insight on the guys individually, hopefully that will happen in the next release.
Tina Scott was an easy narrator to follow with her inflections of the characters.

Reverse Harem

This was a steamy reverse harem short story. It was interesting and fun. The sex was pretty hot. Once I got to know the guys, they were all pretty likable. I'm not sure what they saw in Louisa, though, since she wasn't very nice to them for the first 2 or 3 weeks she was there. I didn't like the end but I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Tina Scott did a good job narrating and it was easy to tell the various characters apart.

A Great Read

I enjoyed this novel. It was a fast paced, fun read and I was hooked until the end. The banter between the characters had me amused from the start. The steamy svenes were hot and the ending left me anxious for the next book in the series.
This story was narrated by Tina Scott. She did an excellent job with the characters. Her ability to make them all sound so different was amazing. Her voice was clear and understandable and I enjoyed listening to her.
Avalanche of Desire was a great audio and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of Reverse Harem romances.

A hot reverse harem hot story

This story will grab you . It’s a reverse harem one that will have your toes curling . This is my first one by the author and it hopefully won’t be my last .
Heroine is Louise . Hero’s are the brothers .
Louise had it rough, . Her mother is a character. But she still feels for them . The brothers Max Bryce and Hudson have had a hard home livebalso . . It’s only fitting that the four get together. And it’s equally hot when they have an insta connection. You should grab it and see how they save each other

Tina Scott did a great work doing the characters and their voices. Her voice is strong and smooth

1st in a series

I have a like & dislike for this one, personally the narration NEEDS a Male performer while I apologize to the artists that brings this book too life I must say her version of the boys sounded too forced and other where not great plus the mother version was too nasal for my liking and this is just my personal opinion of course so please don't discourage from checking this one out.

the story was ok, it was a sad situation with heated passion nearing the end, but this was just not for me and while I do say this don't feel like my sole opinion should sway your decision to check this one out, it is RH that I enjoyed.

Off to become a chalet girl

The Freed Brothers are E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! I know this is a reverse harem so obviously there is plenty of naughty fun but this has a fantastic plot that keeps you engaged between the good parts. A quick wonderful read that will not disappoint.

I would recommend this for fans of reverse harems, protective alphas and tough as nails heroines

First part of trilogy

Book #1 in a trilogy about Louisa and the Brothers Freed.
My first book by this author, but I liked it a lot!
It’s the story of Louisa who is offered a job as a chalet girl in France for Christmas. Unwilling to leave her alcoholic mom behind, she does take the job. Turns out that the Brothers Freed are her “family” to take care of during their stay in the chalet.
I really liked the characters and each of their stories and how vulnerable they turned out to be. It left me with a warm feeling towards them all. Ends with a cliffhanger. I’m looking forward to #2.

The narrator, Tina Scott, did a good job in giving each brother his own voice.

Good Short RH Romance

A fun, quick, easy short story. If you're looking for a light read for an afternoon this is a good choice, especially for during the winter holidays. There is a good amount of build up and tension between characters.

Great Read

Avalanche of Desire (Brothers Freed, #1) was a great read by Bea Paige. Louisa never had a Christmas that was full of joy and cheer due to her drunk mother. She winds up getting more than she bargained for when she finds out the family that she's working for are three bachelor brothers. She decides to go on a trip with them to a remote log cabin. Not Bad

I typically listen to the audible snippets before purchasing the story. And generally, narrators with English accents are a definite "no" for me. It's nothing personal. It's just that English romance narrator's seem to take on an affected, soap operatic, almost mocking tone. Maybe because the book is marketed for the US, so they feel they need to "go big or go home"?

Well, I'm glad I didn't listen first, or I would've missed out on this fun story. Sure, some of the dialogue is still a bit confusing, The editors forgot to skip a few points where the narrator re-read the lines. And the author's "Brit glossary" in the introduction is hilarious.

But the story is a sweet, simple one. Your standard RH: the men are handsome, worldly, and rich. The woman is young, slender, and inexperienced. There's a similar story, the "Unconventional" series, but I'll typically listen to the audible snippets before purchasing the story. There's a similar story, the "Unconventional" series, but that story feels more . ..pure? More natural, maybe. I may return to rewrite this if I can figure out how to better explain my thoughts.

What I am finding way too much in RH and bully stories...even my faves...is that the males always have a recent history of random, excessive sex and the females always excuse them for it. I don't get it. The lead female is always almost (if not literally) virginal. It's as if the males can't be perfect unless they're man whores?... #rantover

One last thing...they could have an entire Xmas tree delivered in the dead of a winter storm, but they couldn't Amazon Prime over a pack of condoms?! lol I'm done.

More than just a reverse harem!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. The author has written a powerful story that tells the tale of four people with heartbreaking childhoods. This is their story on how they cope and try to deal with their issues. When they come together, there is a slow burn before they become romantic, because they need to understand each other. Then the fireworks ignite. The narrator does a good job of portraying the emotions of these characters. There were a few of her voices that I personally didn't like, but don't let that stop you from listening to the story. I highly recommend this Audible book but it is part of a trilogy and this book ends in a cliffhanger.

Serious sound issues in this one

The book itself was a sad and intriguing take on the reverse harem. I like that the characters had DVBBS and how the story developed I wish however that I would’ve been informed that it was going to be left on a cliffhanger when I received this book as I do not typically do books that end in cliffhangers.

Throughout the entire book there was background noise and there were also sentences that either skipped a bit or that were repeated where you can tell that had been dubbed over and just not spliced incorrectly which was a bit distracting.

Overall I enjoyed this book and as long as you’re OK with a cliffhanger I would definitely recommend it as it’s not your typical reverse harem book.

I was provided a copy of this book and exchange for an honest review.

Different

What a different story. This was der. a reverse harem type romance. Louisa had a tough life and became a chalet girl to escape from her life. Once she arrives the story was intense. It was a quick read but at the right pace. I really enjoyed the story.
Tina Scott did a great job with the narration. I'm not usually into accents but she nailed it. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
