「小夜衣草紙より 蛤の吸い物」(30分)
宝暦という時代。大坂の北船場に、金持ちの若旦那で源次郎という男。これが新町の廓へ足を運びまして、小夜衣という花魁と深い仲になった。
「恨みの鎌」(35分)
大和郡山から少し離れた寒村。ここに又兵衛という男があり、女房はお松。又吉という息子。ある日、又兵衛が柴を背負って歩いてると、村松角右衛門という侍が馬にまたがって駆けてくる。馬の鼻先が又兵衛の背負っている薪に当たって、村松角右衛門は落馬した。
「真景累ヶ淵より 豊志賀の死」(18分)
近世落語界の名人、人情噺の大家、三遊亭円朝師の原作・真景累ヶ淵の内の一席。「宗悦殺し」の二十年後の物語。
江戸、池之端根津七軒町。富本節の師匠で豊志賀。年は三十九の女盛り。豊志賀宅の二階に弟子として住んでいたのが、下谷大門町の煙草屋勘蔵の甥、新吉。役者のようないい男。いつしか男嫌いの豊志賀といい仲になりました。
「蘇生奇談」(27分)
エドガー・アラン・ポーが書いた「早すぎた埋葬」という作品があります。
これは生きながら土に埋められる恐怖を描いた名作ですが、似たような話が、日本の明治時代にも実際にありました。
