Great easy read, full of knowledge

As a complete beginner with a telescope, I found this book to be very helpful. It is very simple to read and the celestial locations are detailed and easy to spot. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn to use a telescope and to anyone who just wants to learn more about the night sky without using a book that is too technical with terminology.

A Perfect Text for a Greater Understanding

This is a really good read and reference and worth the price. Wish I had it a long time ago. A whole lot of what you already know, but you'd be surprised at some of the many things you never even thought of. Have you ever looked for solid information on the H-R Diagram to understand stellar classifications more clearly and found that resources are always lacking? Ever wondered what exactly all those symbols, terms, and units mean, where they come from and how to apply them? Ever wonder how distances, masses, and temperatures of stars and gasses are actually calculated? This book will allow you to understand it all with a reasonable grasp of the subjects.

Easy things to see is an easy read

Many books get boring quickly when talking about stars and planets. This one focuses on those nuggets of interesting information that other books fail to talk about. The book covers fun topics including black holes, warp drives, solar systems, galaxies, multiverses, superstring theory, M-theory, unique star types, space colonization, and time travel along with equations with basic algebra concepts explained throughout.

Took a chance and glad I did.

Very good introductions into the study of astronomy. I got it to remind myself of the basic teachings of astronomy beacuse I lost my memory on this subject and I love to read stuff on this subject. Easy to read book packed with lots of interesting and useful information.

I am learning things about our solar system that I never knew. It has many illustrations. I find the author's style clean, crisp, and easy to read. I like the fact that I don't have to run to the dictionary to look up words I don't know that aren't related to the topic

I got this audiobook for my fiance who is in love with stars. this book goes over on great details about the stars galaxies and everything in the skies. The book is well explained for the novice, like myself, who has only the basic astronomy education of high school but wishes to go a bit further and deeper into the subject.
