Insightful

This book is very insightful, from start to finish. Some of the info you may know or already probably aware, but it’ll helps to hear it being said to affirm it in your mind. Once it is, it really can turn your life around of the better.

Very Useful advice

This book has very useful and helpful advice. The most important thing I have is the difference between being assertive and aggressive. Assertive is starting what you want while being respectful of others. That's a lesson I will apply.

Good book, but I liked first half of it more

Good book, but I liked first half of it more. First half was imformative and fresh, revealing I would say and later it become very dry workbook. However it good to give examples but I don't believe half of book for examples is right way. However this is just my personal opinion.

Informative, and Empowering

Short, but powerful, important words. helpful info for those who struggle with passivity, and are aiming to be respectfully assertive. This book can be listened to several times to let the ideas sink in. It encourages practice, and that there is a learning curve. It make take time and trial and error to master assertiveness. We are all worth it!

Crisp with examples

I liked the way author boiled down assertiveness to one word RESPECT & the 10 assertions to practice.

Great information for each aspect of life

The book was well written and is laid out in an organized manner. There was plenty of advice on being assertive in various relationships to include, work, family, personal relationships and even car dealerships! Some of the dialogue is annoying and plenty of the content is borrowed from other books, but overall, a decent read and I don't regret the purchase.
