Summary

A deep dive into high stakes killings, conspiracies, and crimes!

Ruthless killers and murderers for hire: they are here, there, and everywhere. They lurk in the shadows, ready to pounce. They terminate on command. And, in the process, they change the course of the world. They are among the world's most cold-hearted, deadly, and emotionless figures. They are assassins, and they have a long history of grievous deeds.

From the cunning, calculating, government-trained warriors to the psychopathic, homegrown freelancers, you can find them all in Assassinations: The Plots, Politics, and Powers Behind History-Changing Murders. Exposed are the hidden agendas as well as the open warfare. The cynical preparations and devastating aftermaths are laid bare.

You will quickly find yourself immersed in a world that is filled with killings made to seem like suicides, murders that were designed to look like heart attacks or overdoses, and accidents that, in reality, were carefully orchestrated deaths.

Highly Recommend

Amazing work of research. Very compelling and balanced. Early on, the narration was a little bit affectation but got better. Fascinating and historical.

Hmmm...okay

Hmmm...okay. It was entertaining, mostly. He dives into a lot of rabbit holes as he goes along. Think of this as a doubled revision of his 2017 Close Encounters of the Fatal Kind. Both are worth having. The narrower focus on just deaths associated with UFOs keeps the narrative uncluttered on the earlier book.

This 2020 revision includes everything in the 2017 edition but broadens the net to include deaths associated with other weird phenomenon and regular world atrocities. So, it is long. It goes on and on...but, it also gives the reader more.

A thing I do wonder about is why Phil Schneider isn't mentioned in either of the books.

I will be listening to it again.
