Summary

A deep dive into high stakes killings, conspiracies, and crimes!

Ruthless killers and murderers for hire: they are here, there, and everywhere. They lurk in the shadows, ready to pounce. They terminate on command. And, in the process, they change the course of the world. They are among the world's most cold-hearted, deadly, and emotionless figures. They are assassins, and they have a long history of grievous deeds.

From the cunning, calculating, government-trained warriors to the psychopathic, homegrown freelancers, you can find them all in Assassinations: The Plots, Politics, and Powers Behind History-Changing Murders. Exposed are the hidden agendas as well as the open warfare. The cynical preparations and devastating aftermaths are laid bare.

You will quickly find yourself immersed in a world that is filled with killings made to seem like suicides, murders that were designed to look like heart attacks or overdoses, and accidents that, in reality, were carefully orchestrated deaths.

Two thirds - one third

I found the first 2/3rds very good as it made me think more deeply about historical events. The last 1/3rd wasn’t in the title and it was that topic that disappointed me

Worth every penny!

I really enjoyed this book. Interesting facts about every assassination and the details surrounding them. I highly recommend this book. The narrator is also really great to.

Very interesting and good narration

Theories and stories I’ve never heard before, and the narrator is engaging. Gives just enough facts and figures to sound credible while the storytelling keeps it interesting.

Terrible.

Even the narrator can’t be bothered with this ridiculous book. If only it had been edited by someone competent, it might have scraped 4 hours of relevant (to the title) content.

Nothing to do with assassinations

This is supposed to be about assassinations but most of it is about people getting killed & nothing to do with assassinations but its great if you believe in Aliens as most of the deaths in the book are - according to the author who is clearly both a ufologist & conspiracy theorist- connected with aliens

Don't waste your money on this, its garbage

A bit rushed run-through with no depth.

Not enough detail and many interesting aspects missed in some of the more well-known assassinations, the narrator sounded as though they couldn't wait to get to the end. the writer gives far too much credibility to some of the more outlandish theories, in order to justify I clueing them in the first place.

a bit of a waste of time.
