Summary

The first in a nerve-shredding new crime thriller series.

After an operation goes badly wrong, undercover specialist Detective Caelan Small leaves the Metropolitan Police for good. Or so she thinks. Then the criminal responsible is seen back in the UK.

Soon Caelan is drawn back into a dangerous investigation. But when the main lead is suddenly murdered, all bets are off. Nothing is as it seems. Everyone is a suspect - even close colleagues....

Foul language alert

A woman’s got to do what a mans got to do , a silly woman being tough , it beggars belief but it’s what passes for female authors these days .

Boring

Not a single personality you could warm too and certainly not an exciting thrilling read - I'm about halfway through so am sticking with it hoping it will improve but won't be reading any more by this author. And what sort of a name is Caelan!
