Perfect for fans of Eva Dolan and Susie Steiner.
When Gabriella is found unconscious on the banks of the canal, the victim of a vicious attack, the first person DS Kate Reilly wants to talk to is Gabi's identical twin, Thea. There is no CCTV of the crime, very little evidence that points to anyone - but the attack seems personal, and Thea might have information.
The twins met for the first time in over a decade just last week - so what caused such a significant separation? And what brought them back together so suddenly? With a dangerous assailant on the loose, rapidly decreasing evidence and the victim still in a coma, DS Reilly is determined to find out. But as she begins to unpick the lives of each twin, her own begins to unravel....
A thriller not to be missed.
"A hugely promising debut. Overturns every assumption you have at the beginning in a startling and clever twist." (Cara Hunter on The Dream Wife)

JUST AWFUL SO DISAPPOINTED 😔
Wow No words can describe how awful this was I am so disappointed after the dream wife being such an amazing book I still think about it a year after listening I was so excited to see she had released another book
Where do I start? The narrator was the worst I had heard. Up and down inflections where there shouldn’t have been. Over excited when she shouldn’t have been. Just on and on and on she went. I only continued because I had such faith in the author. But in the end I hadn’t a clue what was going on in the book and I didn’t care because I just couldn’t be bothered it wasn’t an exciting story the characters lacked depth and the narrator turned it into drivel. Please please write another book and please please put Claire Corbett back where she belongs. Bringing your books to life!
