Whew! This book is so delicious and so good. Ok Asher Black has earned him a seat up there with Christian Grey and Gideon Cross for me! The story was excellent the characters drew me in and Lacy Laurel did an excellent job of bringing this story to life for me. I had my headphones on to keep listening even when the kids came home from school. This was a GREAT book. I can't wait to get my hands on book 2!

Loving It!

Asher black is like no other book I have listened to I found it very intense. When Lucy accidentally calls the police after seeing something she shouldn't on a night out her world is turned upside down. She must fake it as Asher Blacks fiancé and fool his company that he is capable and trusted to run the company. I thought Lucy was amazing she had been through so much in her life and just when things were working out for her everything changes. Lucy and Asher have such an amusing relationship she questions everything but Asher is so patient and caring for her. I love how the relationship builds. I have to say it had me on the edge of my seat a few times. This is such a great story and I will now go back and listen to Niccolaio Andretti book 2 which now makes more sense after Asher Black. Well worth a listen and I will be going back in a few months as it was so good I want to make sure I didn't miss anything. I likes the quotes at the start of every chapter they were very interesting. Lacy Laurel has such a unique voice she is great at distinguishing between characters she draws you into the story so well.

I loved Asher Black! The book and the character LOL.

The book is well written, and it is fast paced that you won't get bored at any minute.

The characters are great and I liked how their relationship starts developing throughout the book and that it is wasn't rushed or forced, how they both Lucy and Asher were what each other needed and they didn't even know it at first.

Asher is amazing, caring, protective and loyal. Lucy is also a great character, she is strong, loyal, determined, and I loved how she grows and starts gaining more confidence and power.

Lucy's friend Amy was so hilarious, I couldn't believe all the things that came out of her mouth, they have me laughing so much, she was a great addition to the story.

The narrattion by Lacy Laurel was perfect, her voice was perfect for all the characters, that you could identify who was speaking, all her voices so perfect.

Amazing

I've now read the book and listened to the audible narration and since I already liked the book A LOT- it was quite fun to listen and hear Lucy's inner rambling said aloud. the story has some typical romantic tropes but I felt they were introduced in a new way that made the story feel new and unique and seriously I laughed out loud quite often. The narrator was new to me and she has a unusual cadence and speech pattern that took a little while for me to get used to but eventually that went away and I was just happy to listen to the story. I think that Lucy and Asher have a great story and I recommend both the book and audiobook.

very funny and unique

Good story, but the narrator is poor in my opinion. Pauses in strange places, always sounds surprised and struggles saying simple words such as ‘cavalry’ - also random weird words said such as ‘stupecation’ which I assume is supposed to be ‘stupification’, with pauses in front of some words. Dual narration would also have made this a more vivid listen.

Good book but narration poor
