Summary

The First Days: As the World Dies introduced Jenni and Katie and their harrowing journey to the makeshift fort in the Texas Hill Country. Fighting To Survive: As the World Dies continued their story as the two women joined the members of the makeshift fort in Ashley Oaks in the fight for survival against not only zombies, but the evil designs of bandits.

But theirs is not the only tale to be told.

In the second volume of the As the World Dies Untold Tales experience three terrifying tales of those who are forced to face the unrelenting and hungry walking dead.

In a nearby town Ken and Lenore have started their regular routine at Ken's Beauty Salon. A terrible accident brings the undead plague to their front door and soon the best friends are scrambling to escape their overrun town.…

Katarina is just finishing her shift at a roadside café when a badly injured man stumbles through the front door. She quickly realizes that to survive she must learn to kill.…

And finally, a trapped family must face the fearsome truth that sometimes zombies are not the worst monster they have to fear as the world dies….

Great Story

The first couple of chapters are a little weird. The author giving details about characters and other things. I think we could have done without them bit they were quick. Otherwise the book was amazing. The characters were well thought out and developed. There was lots of action and energy. Narrator did a fantastic job and characters were brought to life. Starting the third book knowing it's gonna be great as well.

Loved the series and the untold tales

What made the experience of listening to As the World Dies: Untold Tales, Volume 2 the most enjoyable?

Loved the whole series and untold tales.

Any additional comments?

Rhiannon Frater should really go back to the original series and write another volume. I've read a few of her other books and the writing was good but couldn't get into it. To the author: Find a way to get your head in the game and write another BOOK not NOVELLA to this series.......... it works. Sometimes you need to give the public what they want.... and I think this series is the way to go.

Definitely!! This is just what I wanted - to hear these untold stories of my fave characters!!! Just the right amount of humour too - excellent

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed so many times, and got nervous even though I knew Lenore and Ken survived....

Any additional comments?

Maybe a better Narrator

What made the experience of listening to As the World Dies: Untold Tales, Volume 2 the most enjoyable?

The story over all was very good

What about Kathy Bell Denton’s performance did you like?

Did not like her doing this story at all. It seems like she had a hard time trying to get the voice and feel of the African American female and the mother in the story. had a hard time getting in sync with those characters because of the narrator.

excellent listen

Once again, I have enjoyed hearing the back stories of these characters. I am sorely tempted to get the trilogy before I listen to #3. The narrator has done am awesome job with the story and I hope to hear from her in the next installment.

Another great read.

Just like the first Untold Tales, I was delighted to revisit the As The World Dies universe to discover the origins of beloved characters from the trilogy. It never ceases to excite me when I hear a character mention Ashley Oaks, and I can't help but become emotional as another perilous journey finds its conclusion at The Fort.

Great book with heroic and mostly lovable characters. A story that shows anyone can become a "hero". Definitely worth reading!!

Enjoyed the shot stories

I really enjoyed the stories and even with some of the characters getting on my nerves at times it was still enjoyable and once I finish the next one I will have to see about getting the original books for sure.

I was giving this book for free in return for an honest review of it.

It was great.

I love the story here and how everyone tries to work together. I also really like the short stories at the beginning. I also like how it doesn't take forever to listen to it☺
