Summary

Famous for a unique blend of stand-up comedy and political speech, Gregory had recently run, unsuccessfully, for president of the United States. He had since returned to comedy, recording the album, Dick Gregory, The Light Side: The Dark Side. He contemplates his career with Smith, days before a performance at Carnegie Hall.

Definitely Worth A Listen!

This audiobook definitely has a lot of replay value. So much information in such a short space of time. Discussions such as the youth changing the foul system we live in to the usage of the n word, health, drugs, the super rich, the neglection of the poor white hillbilly and much more. Definitely recommend this to everyone from all walks of life.

Almost there!

Dick Gregory has always been influential for me. His tone of voice will make you think and have you questioning some of the things we do.

This short commentary is laced with good information. However, for me at least, the best part of the conversation began towards the end, and the most interesting topics were introduced before a response could be heard.

Yes, this audiobook is very interesting
Yes, I would recommend it to a friend
Yes, I do believe you will learn something
No, I don't think the conversation was complete. It was cut short before it really got started. ~SmartSysta

Enlightening

I liked listening to a younger Mr. Gregory. Nothing has changed in his approach to life.
