Özet

FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS, SATURN HID AN ALIEN SECRET. IN 2065, HUMANITY WILL FIND IT.

Carpenter Lowell is a disgraced Marine assigned to a remote US research station on Saturn's moon Enceladus, where scientists have made an extraordinary discovery in the ocean below. A special forces team, led by Lowell’s murderous former commanding officer, shows up to investigate. Almost immediately, everything begins to unravel. Something beneath the surface has been activated.

Soon every space force on Earth — American, Chinese, Russian, and more — is converging on the tiny moon, ready to start a war. But when a young archeologist with a knack for dead languages makes an amazing discovery of his own, Lowell realizes the stakes are higher than anyone could’ve imagined. He soon has no choice but to disobey orders and fight soldiers he helped train as he races to stop an unimaginable chain reaction that threatens the entire solar system. The countdown has begun...

Artifact, the first book in the Saturn's Legacy series, is a sci-fi thriller full of mystery, intrigue, and epic action from the depths of the ocean to the edge of outer space.

An easy read but I hate cliffhanger endings. I will give the sequel a chance but doubt I'll be invested in any more than that

Fun but Tropey

The narrator sounded exactly like Chris Griffin from Family Guy. It was really off putting. I tried to ignore it at first but eventually it was too hard to ignore. I couldn’t even focus on the story because of his voice.

Also the narrator needs to work on his pronunciation of non-white names. The name “Anjali” is pronounced “Un-juh-li” - NOT “Ann-jah-lee” like the narrator repeatedly mispronounced.

I ended up just reading the story on kindle unlimited as opposed to listening to it. The story was excellent! Fast paced, full of adventure, a great protagonist and antagonist. I would recommend the author picking a different narrator for their next novel.

Story was great! Narration not so much…

A strong storyline with good characters. There’s lots to like about this story, especially if you like solid military history with clear heroes and villains.

Exciting and fast paced

The artefact is an amazing book which I highly recommend. If you like your science fiction, ancient civilisations, alien conspiracies, and a bit of military thrown in the mix then this book is definitely up your street and absolutely fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. You know it’s a good read when you can’t wait to get back to it and don’t want to put it down. This is one of those and I hope you enjoy.

The brilliant blend between ancient civilisations and science-fiction mystery.
