The human skills and tactics that have brought me joy are here and many more. The book balance's the theory and very actionable practcies you can start using today. While it's not a silver bullet, the author never proclaims such. Actually it's pretty clear a lot of the practices take a concerted effort that will later pay dividends.

Maybe a tad too positive. But who knows the point is to actually start to see things in a better light even if they are not. Definitely a big part is the mindset itself. But for example at some point he talks about working with actual sociopaths without seeing too concerned about it. In my experience that can backfire badly if you don’t treat them as such.
If anything I would have like more examples of longer arguments that had back and forth, as many time you can’t win the battle with just one liner or by planning just what you gonna say.
