Summary

The unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code is the third book in the unbelievably brilliant Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. Read by the actor Gerry O'Brien.

Artemis Fowl is attempting to go straight. But there's always time for one last job. Artemis Fowl has created the most powerful new supercomputer known to man - using stolen technology from an elite race of underground fairies. And when the computer falls into the hands of an IT billionaire with a shady past and an alleged mob connection, Artemis is in deep trouble. The consequences for humans and fairies alike are deadly. Only one person, well, fairy, can help him now. If only Artemis Fowl wasn't the fairies' public enemy number one...

Winner of the WHSmith Children's Book of the Year Award and Children's Book of the Year at the Children's Book Awards.

Shortlisted for the Whitbread Children's Book of the Year Award.

Favourite series

The Artemis Fowl series is my favourite book series. I discovered this particular book first when I was really young (bit of a confusing way to go about things) but still fell in love with it. Many years later, it's just as enjoyable. As good as this performance was, the recordings by Nathaniel Parker have a special place in my heart. His voices for the characters are gospel to me! I'd really like to see those versions of the AF series uploaded to audiobook!

Good book but poor narrator

I've done this book before. It's very good. But the previous narrator, Nathaniel Parker was far far better. He made it come alive. Not so good this time. Sorry.

Dudu du du duu! I'm loving it!

I am in love with Gerry O'Brien's work. His voice is amazing, and I love all the voices and emotion he puts into the characters. The book was incredible as well! Loves seeing characters like Mulch and Juliet get a bigger role, even if I did miss the grumpy Commander Root a bit. The ending was spectacular, and leaves me so excited to continue onto The Opal Deception!
