Summary

Last call! At the end of the night, a clean-cut hunk and a rebellious bartender act on their unlikely chemistry in this frisky standalone novel from the author of Eye Candy.

Davis: I've had my eye on Grace Buchanan for a while now. Unlike the bubbly blondes I usually date, the feisty, flame-haired bartender both intrigues and bewilders me. Something about Grace - the tattoos? The nose ring? - makes every part of me sit up and beg. There's only one problem: She hates me. Trading insults and one-liners has become our M.O. But when Grace bets me that I can't get a date with a non-blonde if my life depends on it, I'm determined to prove her wrong by landing the ultimate non-blonde: her.

Grace: I'm used to regulars hitting on me, and I've turned them all down except for one: Davis Price. I like giving him a hard time, and he's kind of cute in his suit and tie - if you're into that kind of thing. Anyway, I don't care how many blondes he takes home...until one of them sidles up to him in my bar. Nuh-uh. But after my little bet with Davis backfires, our first date lands us in the sack. So does the second. And the third. Neither of us wants more than the best sex of our lives. The trouble is, it's not a question of what I want. It's what I need. And what I need is Davis.

Damn it!

Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! It was so good, and then she came and ruined it!!! Not even two of my favorite narrators could save it. Actually, the three stars are mostly for them, they did a great job, as usual. The rest? Well the story was sooooo sweet and sexy, until it wasnt. Doesnt matter that it has its HEA, the way the climax developed ruined for me. I hate heroines that start powerful and confident and end up being whiny idiots.

2 people with bad break up histories find romance

Gracie doesn’t believe in long term relationships due to her parents and her own relationship history. Since Davis was abandoned by parents as kids and then left at the alter, he also has a bad dating history. But they have hot chemistry and eventually decide to explore it. Sexy story but a lot of angst that each has to work out. Sweet HEA but drags a bit to get there.

This One Was Okay..

Seriously, Hamilton, Mallon is definitely one of the best duo’s in audiobook land. This story was very sweet but I got a little bored around chapter 9 and even they, couldn’t make it any better. It’s an easy read, just don’t expect fireworks. There aren’t any..

It was ok

The story itself wasn’t riveting but the performances were pretty good. I still don’t understand why this was called Arm Candy though. It feels like the author had a different story in mind and changed it after the title was already decided or something. It was a cute story, nothing too mopey or dramatic which was nice.

Boring

Characters were fine.

Writing was super corny. I constantly cringed for most of the listen.

It was a pretty boring story.

Sweet, steamy, cheesy, and dull.

sweet story

I did love the story. 👍🏼 But I love Teddy Hamilton more. 😉💞
My favorite moment was when they said they loved each other while making love💟
What part I thought was stupid/asinine thing was when the dumbass chic broke up with him for no friggin reason. 🤬
I won't say no more but its worth the listen/credit.

Pub love

Davis has a specific type. Blonde, petite, easy and uncomplicated. If he wants drama, he can work more hours. When Grace bets that he wont go outside of that mold, its an easy win. But now can he get her out of his mind?
Grace is a total commitment-phobe. Who could blame her when both of her parents were divorce lawyers who got a bitter divorce themselves. People have let her down her whole life. So now, why is the notorious Davis, with his blonde habit, the one she wants to lean on?

Fast paced, each of the main characters has a bit of a dark time that has to be overcome. Well written, it is a wonderful sequel to Eye Candy and a delightful read.
