I picked up this book because it seemed fascinating for me to see who I am, and I was eager to know what it is inside the book. What information I can get from this book? I was not wrong; this book is everything you need to know about people pleaser. In Chapter 2, it will explain if you are people pleaser or not. If you love your friend more than they love you, then you are a people pleaser.
There is more useful information you would find it in the book, I would certainly recommend it.

Highly recommend it!

My friend is a people pleaser and he can feel super guilty, and often, when he forces himself to choose to do what he wants. He's getting better, but still needs some help and this audiobook is perfect. He's already said it made him stand up for himself once this week. Would recommend.

I am definitely not a people pleaser, but my mom is. Of course it's a lot harder for women to say no and it be an acceptable answer. If you do something, you are a door mat. If you don't, you're selfish...or worse. There is no winning. I will be sending this audible to my mom to listen to.

Well, the verdict is in!

I didn't realise this was what was going on with my friend until I listened to this audiobook. She never says no to any request and she ends up being unhappy and completely stressed out and she just can't help herself. As it was rightly said in this book, it is an addiction, a lack of assertiveness and trying to get validation from others before you can live your life. I will be sending the link for this book to her so she can get a copy for herself.

This book walks us through the behaviours to watch out for in yourself, how to discover who you are, how to say no without guilt, how to set boundaries, and how to surround yourself with the right people and build your confidence. It's a blessing to have a big heart but a curse to not take care of it. I can definitely recommend this book.
