narrated by the Author was a nice touch, highly recommend.

The book was eye opening in more ways then I could have imagined, a definition of travel and adventure - and one cant help but be humble by the stories and in turn less judgemental & more so understanding.

I've read all of Lev's books, and they're fantastic. This is genuinely one of my favourites. It's daring on a number of levels, however particularly in the way it challenges misconceptions. Lev achieves this through his entertaining honesty. Inspiring book and it's narrated as good as anything I've listened to previously.

An excellent book, the story flowed well, coherent and full of interest. I am sure I will listen again. I do recommend this book to others who enjoy adventure and want to learn much about Arabia.
