Mystery in the bag

Apple Pie With a Side of Murder is another cozy little mystery that dishes up a murder with a side of twist and turns. Lisa Beacom did a fantastic job as narrator her voice added more emotion to the story that has me listening till the end. The characters are strong, quirky and likeable. The storyline went at a good pace and was very well written.
I highly recommend this book because I am totally impressed with the authors descriptive language that manages to keep you intrigued.

Enjoyable read/listen

Apple Pie with a Side of Murder, My thirty-second read from author Meredith Potts and the third in the Daily Buzz Mystery Series, different than her other series in that there is an ongoing thread throughout the first three books & ongoing. Longer, at 159 pages, than many of the author's books I've read. Well-written & enjoyable, another cute, clean cozy mystery. I was been given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. Lisa Beacom’s talented narration adds to the book's enjoyment. Since I own both the Kindle & Audible editions I was able to follow along while being read to.I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author. Apple Pie Cozy

Apple Pie With a Side of Murder
Daley Buzz Cozy Mystery, Volume 3
By: Meredith Potts

The Home Away From Home restaurant had a verbal fight while they were eating. The owner and an employee were arguing over theft. The employee left through the dining room telling the customers their food was tampered with.

In this volume Sabrina and David run across another secret society meeting that was breaking up. They were able to get pictures of about half the license plates. They

seemed to belong to some of the most high powered men in town.

The mysterious lights are back on in the mansion where murder suicide happened twenty years before. David arrested a teenage boy for trespassing, after the kid told

him it was a challenge to spend the night in a haunted house.

The following day a murder victim is found. Suspects include former employee, husband, other employees, daughter, or a secret boyfriend. Sabrina and David work the clues to find the killer.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Lisa Beacom did great job.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Sabrina's life can't calm down!

Ready for some more mystery in the small two of Treasure Cove? Sabrina and her detective boyfriend David aren't. They want a break. They are trying to recover from the last murder mystery when the owner of their favorite restaurant is found dead. Now they are in the full spin of finding her killer. There are many suspects but not enough clues it seems. At the same time a few men they know in town who had seemed to turn their lives in a good direction are all of sudden acting strange and suffering from major headaches. Also the mystery of the mens only secret society is still causing alarm. Life just can't seem to calm down for Sabrina! I loved listening to David & her work together. They are a great investigative team. I can't wait to continue on. There are so many questions still unanswered. I am sure there is more mystery in this town.

Sabrina does it again!

I am really enjoying this series. The book can be read as a stand-alone, but there is an underlying mystery woven through the books in the series so far that I'm eager to learn more about. The narrator is top notch and makes the book really easy to listen to. She changes her voice for the different characters so you can easily follow what is going on. The end snuck up on me! I didn't guess whodunnit, it was a surprise. I love how David is so willing to have Sabrina work with him. I get tired of the old thing of the amateur detective being thwarted by the police all the time. Well written book, Meredith!

Family Friendly Cozy Mystery

Number 3 in the series ut a great stand alone book. It has believable characters that are interesting. Narration is great as it keeps your interest till the end of the book. Clarisse the owner of the dier is murdered. She is stabbed to death. There are strange things happening in town. You havemen in black suits having private, large meetings, high schoolers wanting to sleep in what has been called a haunted house. Sabrina amateur sleuth with her boyfriend Detective David interviews to try and solve the murders. There are many twists and turns , many without alibis. This is a light clean story, with no gore, sex or foul language. you won't guess till the end who did it.
