While this is part of the epic family saga, The Friessens, I think it can be enjoyed on its own. I haven’t read Cat and Xander’s story in this series but that didn’t matter. Much like any other young couple, Cat and Xander have decisions to make when they get unexpected news. I enjoyed the banter between the characters. I will certainly be listening to more books in this series.

This is a short and great book, to listen to. Muddling along until a bump in the road shakes things up for Cat and Xander
