Summary
From NY Times & USA Today best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow a cozy mystery paranormal romantic comedy.
The Garden Gnome Bed and Breakfast might be a new kooky weekend getaway spot, but for Lily Goode the inheritance represents the promise of a stable future for her and her siblings. Unfortunately, the house isn’t the only thing she inherited. The bed and breakfast also comes equipped with witchy Aunt Polly, troublesome garden gnomes, a town that hates her, newfound magical powers that misfire, and a werewolf boyfriend she shouldn’t have asked to move in with her.
When a guest is found dead during her grand opening, Lily knows she has to solve the mystery of what happened before the B&B is closed forever.
Lucky for her Aunt Polly is here to help save the day.
Welcome to Lucky Valley, Colorado, where nothing is quite what it seems.

Interesting continuation
What a horrible way to start a bed and breakfast the bad luck is still very present if the first thing that happens is a murder there were a lot of unexpected happenings in this book and all very interesting.

Enjoyable Listening and Entertaining
Really enjoying this series and looking forward to much more so can follow the adventures of the great characters in this entertaining cozy paranormal mystery.
I listened to audiobook on Audible and find narrator a great addition to the story along with great storyline and characters from author. Michelle creates a warm, cozy, humorous and very enjoyable series that draws you in and be part of the adventure.
Look forward to next adventure for Lily and all characters of Unlucky Valley.

Cute
This town is a cute place with some crazy characters. I am happy to get to know more about these characters and this world. Aunt Polly is up to her usual tricks and of course the magic doesn’t go the way it’s supposed to. I am hoping to see more of this town and these characters.

Didn't float my boat.
I received an audio copy of the book free for an honest review; but I purchased the ebook. That being said, I enjoyed the book, but found the narration left me cold. I can't put my finger on it except to say that the narrator reminded me of the elementary school narration. It didn't fit for me. The book however was great. The plot & characters did it for me, just not the narration.

Goode Story
4 Star story, 2 star narration.
The good; excellent storytelling, great cast of characters. Love aunt Polly and the entire supporting cast.
The bad; the narrator was not good. His attempt to do 'female' voices felt derogatory. And the add 'southern' voice of a character that was never mentioned to be southern was off putting.

Liked
I love listening to this book. Aunt Polly is always a fun character, but Nolan and Lilly are the main characters. Nolan wants only to love Lilly despite her doubts of his intentions. A murder at her bed and breakfast keeps your attention as Nolan and Lilly love story unfolds in each book.

It Gets Better
This story is cute. The gnomes are still creepy and aunt Polly is just annoying. I like the siblings and Nolan. I like that all the familiars aren't the normal cat. This series grew on me and now I wish there was more than two books in this series. I like the sense of family and the new relationship Lily has.

LOOK OUT FOR THE GNOME WHO WAN'TS REVENGE
This is what I thought of book one BETTER HAUNTS AND GARDEN GNOMES: FANTASTIC WITCHY TALE well narrated in a lovely voice. When a magical house is inherited by a human girl (she doesn't know she is more), she gets more than she expected and gets to meet an aunt with a gnome fetish and an eccentric manner. I just loved this story and think you will too, so entertaining. RECOMMENDED
Book two ANY WITCH WAY BUT GOOD has me almost wetting myself from laughing so much. I especially like the disembodied male voice following Lily around the house, Mara the sister who was born and raised in a barn and has a special connection to ghosts. (you will find some of her history in book one). I found Lily's interaction with her new magic very entertaining and Polly's manner of dressing fun. I am dying to find out more about the gnomes and see if the trolls do show up. Recommended Series narrated in a perfect series of voices.

Great Paranormal Cozy Mystery!
This is the second book in the (Un)Lucky Valley Series, a Paranormal Romance. Lily adventures continue in this installment. I loved this cozy mystery. Nolan, Lily's boyfriend, is very handsome, and supportive. The cast of supporting characters is interesting. I liked Lily's eccentric family. Aunt Polly is such a fantastic side character! The Sheriff is also a great character. The storyline is filled with magic, secrets, twists and turns, and sweet romance. I liked the humor in the story. B.J. Harrison did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
