Great book...very PRACTICAL

The book helps move you to a mindset of self-acceptance and guides you through a structured approach to challenge your thoughts and incorporate positive and productive behaviors. As you go through each lesson you feel supported and encouraged to be as forgiving of yourself as you may be of others. This is an inspiring and valuable resource.

NICE ONE

The general approach of this book involves three main steps: identifying habit loops, focusing on the actual current reward value of these behaviors, and then replacing these habits with more rewarding ones based on curiosity and learning.

I recommend the book and the App, as proven (evidence-based), practical practices that work. If you have anxious thoughts or feelings, understanding the underlying habits that perpetuate them is nothing short of life-changing.

amazing book

This is the second book that I’ve read from Dr. Brewer. “Unwinding Anxiety” is a great follow-up to “The Craving Mind” picking up on many of the foundational concepts explored previously.

Great book

It begins by explaining the different behaviors and coping mechanisms men tend to exhibit for anxiety compared to women. It also explains why this occurs, usually due to social and cultural pressure.
