Summary

Anthony "Tony" Robbins is perhaps the most recognizable personal development coach in the world. His highly effective and infectiously positive style of motivating and training people to become their best has led to him work with, among others, numerous heads of state, top sports and movie stars, and even royalty.

In this book we will take a closer listen to the man himself as well as the key lessons we can draw from his life and his teachings. In this part biography, part motivational manual, we will examine Tony Robbins' story with a strong focus on the key principles Robbins has taught to his clients over the years.

In this book you'll learn about:

  • Tony Robbins' simple rules for success - the 10 core concepts that we all need to understand in order to achieve real success and lasting happiness and take our lives to the next level.
  • Why the life you want is a choice, and how you can cultivate the required mind-set to make this choice
  • Emotions - the invisible driving force in our lives and how to make them work for us rather than against us.
  • Resources versus resourcefulness - the importance of distinguishing between the two and how to make the most of what you have available
  • The importance of discipline and how to cultivate this invaluable trait
  • The power of purpose on influence
  • Six of Robbins' regular habits that you can incorporate into your life in order to bring about positive change

As you'll see, Robbins' positive, proactive, and motivational way of thinking and behaving has allowed him to achieve massive personal success as well as help countless others to take their lives to the next level.

Boring and unhelpful

The narration sent me to sleep and this summary of Anthony Robbins' concepts is not useful in the way Anthony Robbins' own books are. It glosses over key parts making it impractical.

Somewhat disappointed

Good tips to go by. I've heard Tony Robbins in previous audio books... when he speaks he's very energetic and full of life and enthusiasm.
CJ Mcallister on the other hand is extremely boring and robotic to listen to. frankly I'm shocked they would allow him to do such the part in what should be a life-changing audiobook.
I'll gladly keep listening to Anthony Robbins audio books as long as CJ McAllister is not reading them.

Good but not as much as Robbins himself.

Good but i expected much more from a book title including such a great coach.

More of a summary

The narrator voice was a bit irritating, the book had maybe three examples of Tony's life, it was a summary of Tony's work. My opinion is that it's better to get the actual audibles of Tony's work.
