The South Pole in winter is one of the deadliest places on Earth. The seven person crew of the US Freedom Base lives alone in months of utter darkness with no hope of help or rescue. A freak storm batters the walls and threatens to expose them to the deadly cold. All they can do is wait…and pray. The ground quakes. An alien screech rips through the night. There’s something, or someone, lurking outside. Fists bang on the walls. Each tiny crack in the base spells death by hypothermia. Untold horrors have come to Freedom Base…and they want in!

A thrilling, fast-paced adventure that grips you from the first icy encounter and doesn’t let go. The action is fast paced with well developed characters. Just when you think you know where it’s headed, the strange and unexpected ending takes you somewhere completely different. Steve Connor’s narration is clear, dramatic, and perfectly matched to the story’s intensity. Highly recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.

Chilly Horror!

Not what I thought but I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Not quite the B horror genre that I love but near enough. There's a twist near the end.
