Summary

What happens to you when you love someone with all of your heart, but that love has nowhere to go?

Heartthrob Cole Harkin counted his blessings with a gorgeous wife and the couple's excitement of a first baby on the way. Just when he thought his world was complete, though, Cole becomes devastated and overwhelmed when his future is ripped from under his feet.

With little choice in the matter, Cole has to face living another life.... A very different life from the one he thought he and Grace had planned.

Beautiful and heartfelt 😍

Another Life by KL Shandwick is one of my favourite story. It is one of loss, grief, rebirth, hope and love. It is written with huge sensitivity and the author allows time to transmute grief into something new and beautiful, never straying into sentimentality. In Harper we have a gorgeous, gentle, strong woman whose integrity and essential kindness, finally penetrate the fog that has surrounded Cole. Layla is a total joy and adds to the narrative with her innocence and openness.
The narration cannot detract from the quality of this story.

Another life

K L again you have hit it out the park. I usually don't cry, but I almost came close. The reader almost caused me not to keep going, but I am glad I did. I am glad he came around and let the past go, so he could let his daughter and love in again. Great book.
