Troy Duran gives Another Life by KL Shandwick the voice and emotion that Cole Harkin needed and this book deserved!!!!
I listened to this book in 2days, it's an emotional rollercoaster heart wrenching book, about Cole's struggle to come to terms with his devastating loss of Grace and the birth of his beautiful little girl Layla.
Harper his nanny is amazing and over time Cole begins to notice her in a different light, and Harper is very aware of this, read their struggle as they work out what's best for them all. Layla his daughter is a,bright funny little girl and she had me crying from laughter at times, and crying with her heart wrenching questions at other times.
Have your tissues at the ready , but I highly recommend you listen to this Emotional Rollercoaster

As for the narrator Troy Duran he was magnificent.

My heart has just been on one wild rollercoaster ride....
Another Life is a beautifully written and exquisitely narrated story.

KL Shandwick has poured her heart out in this super emotional story, of love
loss, intense grief, denial, and some deep and dark places the mind can find.
At the happiest time in his life Cole loses the love of his life, left holding a new
born baby he has to find his way to navigate life while his mind is in turmoil and
his priorities have changed. The journey Cole had to navigate was so emotional that
my tears kept making repeat appearances.
After a long time he comes to his senses and realises that he has a gorgeous little girl
and lots of friends in his life, but can he allow himself to enjoy another life?
Can his heart ever beat for another lover ?

When those dark, angry, yet precious words are voiced by Troy Duran l can assure
you that you will be swept away. His deep and gravelly voice is not only captivating
but it somehow makes the story so much more emotional and intense. His voice has
light and shade, and he gives those special moments in the story so much life.

I cannot recommend this story strong enough, and this audio is pure magic.

I love this beautiful, heartfelt, emotional story written and narrated with a sensitivity which looks at both love and loss and shines a subtle, kind mirror up to both. Troy Duran narrates with thoughtfulness and consideration towards the text, which brings it to life. Cole is a complex character and we get so much insight into the vulnerable man whose life has been upended. Troy brings seriousness, love, fun and compassion to one of my all time favourite books. Wonderful 💖💖💖💖💖
