Summary

The man they call 'Britain’s Funniest Milton', Milton Jones, stars in his smash-hit Sony Award-winning comedy show, Another Case Of Milton Jones, costarring Tom Goodman-Hill (The Office, Humans), Ben Willbond (Horrible Histories), Dave Lamb (Come Dine With Me), Ingrid Oliver (Doctor Who) and Lucy Montgomery (Down the Line).

In each episode, Milton is a complete and utter expert at something - and in each episode, with absolutely no ability or competence, he plunges into a furiously funny and fast-paced adventure with utterly hilarious results.

The One-Liner Master In His Element!

I loved listening to this on the radio years ago and I am equally enjoying listening to it again now. If you enjoy Python you'll love this. Absurdist humour and one-liners galore, all wrapped up in a pleasing narrative.

Excellent Milton Jones Humour

Loved the book! Cleverly written script, laugh out loud clean humour for all ages. Usual high quality BBC recording and great support actors. Milton is a comic genius and his unique style of humour unmatched. It's not the sort of book that I will put down as read, but I will dip back into it time and time again.

Milton not paradise but lost

You have to like Milton Jones in all his wackiness. Although well thought out I would say that this grates after a time, the length is down to the individual listener.

brilliant and silly just as expected

I've heard some of these episodes before, but to get all episodes made for a lot of laughing amazingly still managed to concentrate on driving. I must have looked a sight laughing so much. I enjoy silly humour and play on words and Milton Jones is brilliant at it.

Shame

I really enjoy watching Milton on TV and find myself in stitches with his thoughtful one liners and lateral thinking. Unfortunately I bought this book thinking it would be on a similar vein.
I found this script similar to the bad old days of Terry and June. I’ll look for other titles which hopefully will show Milton at his best and put this title down as a beginners mistake

Reminiscent of ISIRTA

Milton Jones' humour will appeal to you if you like puns. Overall, the stories and the performance are very reminiscent of the BBC's "I'm sorry I'll read that again" which I used to listen to as a child; a wild romp through the writer's imagination. Highly entertaining.
