Summary

We all experience times of hiddenness, when our potential is unseen and our abilities unapplauded. This book redeems those times by reminding us that though we often want to rush through these anonymous seasons of the soul, they hold enormous power to cultivate character traits that cannot be developed any other way!

When I needed to understand He sent this book.

I love every word. I needed every word. I've struggled with being invisible thinking there must be something I'm doing or have done that's wrong.
This reassures me of His steadfast love.

Food for the soul

One of the most life giving and refreshing books I've read in a long time. Alicia reads this exceptionally well too. Now I'm going to look for more by this fantastic author!

On my 3rd read--provided so many answers

This book showed me how much I had "conformed to this world," and I'm sure I would have never confronted this truth without the work of Alicia Britt Chole. I am reading, again, for the 3rd time because it is such a mirror for me that I want to make sure that I don't miss anything. I would have spent years in a therapist's office before being able to see the truths about me, but as a result of this read I am, HAPPILY, going into hiding. THANK YOU!

The only book I’ve read twice.

I seriously am so touched by this book,as I have kicked and screamed my way through anonymity. This book brought a peace to my soul I’ve never known before.

Incredible Book; REMARKABLE Insight

I loved the layout and structure of the cook. Her treatment on the temptations of Jesus was stellar, but more than that, it was like listening to a coach/mentor prophetically lead me through this season of hiddeness in my life. Wow. EVERY SINGLE MILLENNIAL needs this book!

Such an Important Book

The topic of humility and anonymity goes extremely underdeveloped these days. We often miss that God may be leading us to those dry, barren years where we are seemingly forgotten.

I have found myself in one of those seasons. This book masterfully lays out how to navigate and embrace the anonymous years, speaking so deeply from the life of Christ Himself.

I devour books, but this is one that needs to be taken piece by piece, with a magnifying glass over your own life as you read. Can't recommend this highly enough.

A must read for anyone who feels hidden.

Sweetly narrated by Alicia, this book is an affirmation that the times when we feel anonymous, hidden, or even useless, can be the times we most learn, grow, and prepare for what God and this world have called us to do.
