Interesting premise and good story
This was a great story that kept my attention. Gabe is a fantastic heroic character who has to overcome his past loss. Autumn is in a really bad situation with an abusive husband. They meet and Gabe recognizes her as an abused woman and therefore, wants to help. Can they get past her wealthy and influential husband and also their pasts to find their HEA?
I liked the characters. I did not like what I count as cheating- getting emotionally and physically closer even though Autumn was still in a relationship (and yes, I know that being abused really does give her an “excuse” and her husband is an awful person.) Also, why make Gabe an escort? It felt like just a need to introduce yet another obstacle to their relationship. Otherwise, though, the story was interesting and I liked to see Autumn overcome the abusive husband.
This narration was done as a duet- Kyelie Stewart and Eric Rolon interacted with each other beautifully and I love duets because it really feels like a audioplay. They both had to play multiple female and male characters, respectively, and both did a great job doing that. I enjoyed the narration and felt it added to the story.

Autumn and Gabe
This book was so .... I don't know. I can't say that I enjoyed the story, because Autumn was in a horrible situation. The story was written well and Gabe and Autumn had many obstacles to get through. But they persevered in the end. I look forward to more of the series. The narration was done well.

Very enjoyable
This has a great storyline. There’s so much going on that it will keep you hooked completely. I fell in love with these characters so quickly. Fantastic narration from both Kylie and Eric.

a couple that you will root for
Gabe is still mourning the loss of his fiance after many years. He is not able to move forward and love again. So he finds the most loveless job, an escort. Autumn is stuck in an abusive relationship and does not know how to escape until she meets Gabe at a local coffee place. These two are instant friends. As their relationship blossoms, these two find healing. I loved their story. A broken hero and heroine always touch my heart and have me hoping for their happy ending. Gabe and Autumn are broken, and as they heal, their true characters shine. I could not stop listening to this story.
This was my first listen to Kylie Stewart and Eric Rolon. I loved their narration and cannot wait to hear more. They have complimentary voices that kept the story flowing. Kylie is a great Autumn. Autumn is an abused woman. Kylie brings out all of the fears and emotions that are typical for an abused woman in Autumn and made her real. I loved her narration of Autumn. Eric is the perfect Gabe. He is still hurting and Eric brings that all to life. Eric's narration of Gabe is exactly as I imagined him . I look forward to hearing more from this team.
