Summary

When members of Vigata’s elite are targeted in a series of perfectly executed burglaries, Inspector Montalbano reluctantly takes the case. It isn’t long too before Montalbano finds himself taken with one of the victims, the captivatingly beautiful, young Angelica.

But as the detective’s attraction grows, a series of strange, anonymous letters claiming responsibility for the thefts begin to arrive. With the allure of Angelica beginning to consume him and his relationship with Livia under threat, Montalbano must focus his mind to solve this perplexing investigation before events spiral out of all control.

Ok but ...

Just love these books fantasy, comedy almost opera, I wish these were all read by mark meadows. Although read very English style, captures the essence better than Daniel philpott

Sack the narrator!

The narrator was the worst I have ever heard and I listen to 10 audio books a month. Why put on that truly amateur so-called Italian accent? We know the story has been translated, we are not totally thick. I am a great fan of this series and I am collecting the whole set but wish this one was not part of it. You made a huge mistake using this idiot.

Predictable

The story is engaging but not as good as his other novels on audible. Still, much enjoyed.
