Great story!

The story is well written and sweet. It has a type of fairy tale storyline. The narrator does an okay job with the characters. I made it through the book but kept telling myself that it could have been a lot better with a different narrator. The story has potential. I had a hard time listening to this narrator.

Good Story

I enjoyed this story from the beginning until the last chapter. There is no way I will enjoy a story that takes infinite away from God. All of his attributes were involved in the story and yes, I realize it is a story but no story should take what is immutable and make it mutable. God is the great I am and therefore cannot die. Perhaps give the child an archangel role but not like what is done here. It jarred my sensibilities and make me dislike the whole story. The narrator was good and made the story come alive but the ending was just wrong to me. This is my voluntary review and opinion.

A different take

I read a lot of angel books and they all have something in common. But this one was a little different in the way the author went about it. It's an interesting concept. The story is short and offered a new take on an angel and human relationship.

Great story, terrible narration

I feel really bad saying this but the narration made this book hard to get through. I'm sorry but she sounded like she was reading a book to a group of preschoolers, which made it particularly cringe worthy during intimate moments or curse words. The story itself is great. I am going to purchase the eBook and read it so that I can really appreciate the work.

This story is embeded in my heart

Angel of Mine made my heart flutter with sadness and joy. A deep story of love and total commitment. It is full of pure love. Zane Michaelson slowly discloses Gabriella and Angelo story and reached inside my heart. I found myself tearing up in one chapter only to be smiling with the next. I originally read this story. Listening to the audio version allowed me to really absorb the story. Paying close attention to the details I missed while reading

Sweet story

Really enjoyed the guardian angel falling in love with his charge angle, and the romance is sweet. The story is entertaining, and does have a little twist. The story doesn't go in the typical way, which was good. I liked this heartfelt novella. It's a bit formal, and the story is fairly basic, but that makes for an easy read. I listened to the audio version, which was okay, but the narration sounded a bit like her mouth was filled with cotton. She had a thick accent, so that might have been it. The narration did mellow as the story went on. I didn't really care for Ella; the female lead, because she had a bit of the party girl aspect and acts dense at times. She's okay, but I didn't really see why Angelo would be so in love with her. Angelo is a sweetheart; not very alpha, but a nice guy or rather angel. They do have some brief passionate moments, which were sweet. Overall, a quick, entertaining, sweet story.

Good Story Which Has To Battle The Narration

If you want an X-rated Supernatural (TV Show) style story, then this is pretty much it. Sadly, the narration is hard work and makes enjoying the tale harder than it needs to be. I'm recommending this but strongly recommend you listen to the sample before buying it. Note: I received a review copy of this after soliciting one. This review is, however, my own opinion and was not required or incentivized by the author or the narrator.

Angel of Mine

This book has quite a twist to the beliefs of heaven and hell. I loved hearing this version and really enjoyed the surprises that the author gave you on the way. The narration was ok in this book. I would have enjoyed it more if there had been som gaps sometimes that let you know that time had past in the story so you didn’t feel like you were playing catch up to where you needed to be. Also the extra emphasis on his or him did get to be a bit much. Sometimes it made sense to be there but others just felt too forced. All in all I enjoyed the book and would like to see where this story may go.

Liked the story!!

This was a sweet story! Zane Michelson did well with this storyline, although the sexy stuff threw me a bit considering the plot. Angelo and Ella were both easily loved characters. I this is my first Lexie Hawke listen and it was well done but I couldn’t always distinguish between the characters. I’m sure if I were to listen to her more, I’d get used to her accent and times so that I would be better at telling between characters.

This wasn’t a very good story. Although it’s geared toward fantasy, there was no plausible plot. The narrator was terrible which made it difficult to complete the book even if it was just under 3 hours. The angel sacrificed for love but I’m fuzzy on the repercussions of his actions. It didn’t make sense.
