My name is Darcy Anderson, and when my life is in danger, a power inside me unleashes fire.

I cannot summon it. I cannot control it.

The first time it erupted, I survived an attack in my own home … but the fire became an inferno. By morning, the house was gone, my parents were dead, and no one believed my explanation.

I spent ten years in prison for manslaughter.

Now I'm finally out on parole. All I want is to return to my hometown, rebuild my life, and leave the past buried.

But the man who attacked me has come back to finish what he started.

I can feel the power inside me growing stronger. Unless I learn to control it, the next person it destroys may be someone I love.

Or me.

narrator was excellent and brought the story to life. this was an easy listen and a decent story. not what I expected but would recommend to others. if your looking for more of a paranormal supernatural book this is not the one for you,. that being said, I will be buying the next in the series, just to see what happens.

different but still good.

What made the experience of listening to Angel Fire the most enjoyable?

I loved the premise and the way that the author started us on the journey through the story. It starts with Darcy leaving prison after accidentally using an ability which she could not control. She has the courage to go back home after this and work through all that this brings.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Definitely Darcy, but Neil was also a good solid character and her relationship with her aunt and uncle on getting out of prison also made them interesting as well.

What does Suzanne Cerreta bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

A great voice for the characters and the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I thought it started well and moved into a good solid story.
