Way better than a Romero story

I am a zombie fanatic, heck my user name is generally Zombiedude, so you know I love zombies and I am the first to say that a book or movie in this genre sucked. Thankfully, I have no such concerns with And God Created Zombies.

First of all, William L. Sturdevant plays his part well. He does a great job on the various voices, and conveys the written word into verbal images that sear your mind. The only question I have, and I have docked no points for this, is why didn't the protagonist have an English accent? LOL, it doesn't make a bg difference but given the setting one might expect it.

Hook does a great job with the story, and despite some predictable plot points the story moves along nicely and is fun as all get out. Any zombie fan worth his salt would enjoy this book.

Interesting book!

Great book with great characters. The book had action, love and suspense. I liked that govt conspiracy was added in this book. The narrator did a great job portraying the characters and the accents were great.
Not sure i liked the end of the book though. something was lacking and just didnt do the rest of the book justice. even with the ending I would still read this book again as the rest of the book makes up for the ending.

Never saw that coming!

I love zombie movies but rarely seem to come across zombie stories. What can I say about this one? It was a surprise! This is what I would refer to as a deep-thinker kind of story with a surprise ending.

Loved the narrator. He had a really calming voice. One thing I would have changed was his lack of an accent for the main character. Given he lives in London, he should have had an English accent but didn't.

Overall this will be one of those few stories that will stick with me, I think. I'd definitely recommend it to others as well.

Silly

This narrator is awesome. Would definitely reccomend listening to anything else. Story is weak and predictable.

Good but predictable

At the end of the book the author says we may be vaguely disgruntled. He wasn't kidding. The story was pretty good. It was the typical zombie story. About half way through the book I realized what was going on and pretty much figured out the rest of the book. I usually hate this type of ending, but this was a little more creative than other books with similar endings. The narration was pretty good. William Sturdevant does a great job with the male and female voices and accents.
