Summary
Number one New York Times best-selling author Sherryl Woods returns listeners to the beloved Southern town of Trinity Harbor with a story of intrigue and second chances.
Sheriff Tucker Spencer has seen some action...but finding an almost-naked woman asleep in his bed leaves him speechless. Especially because this same woman, Mary Elizabeth, broke Tucker's heart six years ago by marrying a charismatic Virginia politician, a man who's just been found shot dead.
Mary Elizabeth needs Tucker's help. Needs him, period. But along with her return comes all the town gossip about their reunion romance. Even his father, who can't manage his own love life, is determined to "impart his wisdom" regarding theirs.
Tucker's not listening to any of it. He just needs to clear Mary Elizabeth's name. But in the end, he'll confront a mystery even more confusing than murder: how the heart makes room for forgiveness and a new start.

Keep them coming Sherryl
Another good book in the trilogy. Good lighted hearted reading/listen. I have enjoyed nearly all of Sherryl’s audiobooks. If I haven’t listened, I have them in my list to obtain them or they are in my library.

Great
This was my first of Sherryl Woods books. I enjoyed it immensely. "Along Came Trouble " was #3 in a series but a stand alone. I took a chance and very glad I did. This listen had everything I love in an audio book. Mystery, Romance and Suspense and a little sex too. Megan Tusing was also a first. She did a good job with different voices. Definitely worth a credit.

Enjoyable, but...
There were a few times that it just didnt make sense. One example was only the guys had cell phones during one segment, but none of the women did! Ridiculous. Besides not being plausible at times, it was entertaining and kept me listening.

Less happy with book
This book of the trilogy didn't seem to wrap everything up. There were too many useless characters.
