Summary
Peyton Gloss is the world's most famous and popular singer and songwriter, known for her chart-topping hits as well as her famous girl squad and July 4th events, inviting all of her famous friends to celebrate. This year, she did something even more extravagant than ever and invited her friends to join her for a week-long adult summer camp experience.

Omg
This book is fabulous. The storyline and characters were fantastic. The narrattor was amazing, I could listen to that voice all day and at one point I did. Well done.

Surprisingly good.
More complex than the usual. A good listen - narration not bad either. Listened to the first one in the series and enjoyed that too

Strong start, poor finish
Development between Kenzie and Lennox were amazing the first half, but the second half of the book became mindless, unnecessary, drawn out, pointless, stagnant drama with a lot of repetitive dialogue and scenes. Like seriously, how many times do we need to hear about Lennox's dilemma or the two's back and forth attitude with what they want to do?

Okay......
Okay listen,went on a bit and then ended quick. There is an epilogue that is a bit insubstantial . I like the characters so that helps and I like that the author has done a series that builds on the previous books using those characters we are already invested in.
Lennox has proved to be a kind woman and in the main helps the socially awkward Kenzie.
I guess I will be buying the next two in the series. I like the narrator but she has made Peyton sound a bit manic in book two, so maybe keep an 'ear' out re continuity ?
