The characters are amazing and the way it’s narrated really got their personalities across, P is by far my favourite character!

I actually read the book first and absolutely loved it! however the audio version has blown the physical book out of the water! I think the northern narration really helps! it sells the setting so much more.

the emotions just feel so much more intense! I would recommend this book to literally everyone, it's the perfect blend of crime and fantasy! the grumpy sunshine, enemies to lovers vibes are just spot on but the found family is my absolute favourite thing about this book. I wish desperately I could be hanging out with Sage and P but I'd definitely be pining after Oren 🫠 so it's probably for the best I can not visit downside 🤣

I thought because I knew the story that I wouldn't cry this time, let me tell you I was wrong, I ugly cried more than once... again 😅👌🏼 I am now patiently waiting for book 2!
