From the very first page I was completely hooked. The book is brilliantly crafted, with a masterful control of suspense, wonderful twists, and a genuinely thrilling ending. The narrator, Diane Berendes, really brought the story to life.

This was a new author to me - I loved the short story but the only issue that I had was it left me wanting so much more, hopefully there is going to be more.

The narration really worked.

The story itself wasnt complex and I had worked it out but half the fun was getting there which the author did in a great way keeping me entertained throughout.

Loved the narration of Diane Berendes, who brings the thrill and drama to your ears

FBI special agent Lexi Stone finds herself investigating murders that are close to home. The murder are connected and showing a pattern. Revelations come to light, making it hard to know who to trust.

This book is full of suspense, thrills, twist and drama. You will be hooked from the start.

I've listened to Kim's other books and looked forward to listening to this one. It does not disappoint, Lexi is a new character and I found her very engaging along with her life partner Adam. The supporting cast, as in her ex husband and cop partner are very good too if a little obnoxious and self centred. The story is fast paced and full of twists, edge of the seat listening with a unexpected twist at the end. Now looking forward to the next in the series. Narration was spot on. Highly Recommended.
