Returned to Earth, Ellen Ripley learns that a colony has been established on LV-426, the planet where the crew of the Nostromo found the original Alien.

But contact with the colonists has been lost, so she must accompany a unit of colonial marines to discover their fate. And to destroy any Aliens found on the planet known as Acheron.

This is a groundbreaking sequel by science fiction legend Alan Dean Foster, with the wonderful characters and rapid-fire action that make Aliens one of the greatest science fiction films of all time.

Any additional comments?

I doubt any one would listen to this who has not watched the movie, its a very good listen, well read and the story flows well enough, enjoyable.

Lives up to the movie...

Great scriptwriting that painted the tension and characters vividly. I was a bit dubious as I'm not generally a fan of horror but loved the original film. This may have made me an even harder listener to hold but the audiobook has done the films full justice. I'll be tuning into this author and narrator again.

Big Fan of the original movie. This did it proud.

Although I'd seen the film some time ago, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The only negative was that it was sometimes difficult to distinguish between the voices of the characters. Would definitely recommend.

Gripping!

for some reason they took out the swearing which changes the feel for some conversation.
also he isn't pronouncing Acheron properly, I had to turn it off for a bit I was finding it so frustrating. even more frustrating when you realise William Hope was in the same movie! so should know exactly how it's pronounced 🤔🤣
but the story is great and one of my all time favourite films.

worth it but a bit annoying
