Turgid and wordy
The narrator reminded me of the regency actors in blackadder the third, the story is interminably dull and turgid.

“Goats climb, wizards arrive!”
A nice take on the Arthurian Legend, bringing him into modern times. It’s quite a slow burn, not the usual sword play of Arthur tales, but really well told with plenty of intrigue and mystery.
Great narration from Nigel with great character voices and pacing with a voice perfectly suited to this kind of tale. A true storyteller!
This is my honest opinion on a free review copy.

Hope there is another book on the way.
A fantastic sequel to Ravenmaster. This book mainly focused on the life of Agravain, how hard it would be watch everyone around you grow old and die and you stay young. Seeing a different side Nimue emerge was nice. Can’t wait for the next book on Arthur and his knights. Nigel’s narration was another fantastic and powerful reading.

A Knight of Revenge
I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
A unique and interesting tale of immortal heroes as they pass through time. Agrivain, one of King Arthur's Knights, is compelled to leave the brotherhood, The dual passages through time is masterfully revealed in flashback scenes. The narrator was exceptional. Without getting too much further into detail, I think this story is best read without foreknowledge of the outcome, as I di.d. Imaginative and horrific incidents through time have full impact in this tale. The second book in this series ended with the sense that there has to be a book three as some issues are left unresolved.

I have loved every minute of this story! I found it near impossible to pause it to get my commitments completed. My only complaint is the ending. I didn't find out the resolution to Arthur's love. I sure hope it is in the next book!!
