Awful - some sentences don't make sense

Really not good. Apart from sentences that don't make sense, the author quotes one particular book one sentence after an other. Long sections of just listing websites with short descriptions of what they do. Not the introduction to Agile I was hoping for.

Avoid

This book is terrible in so many ways; it sounds as though it's being narrated by Google Translate from its original language with nonesense sentences like "some portion of upgrading and ending up progressively effective is posing the correct inquiries and challenging the manner in which things have consistently been the point at which it's proper". Add to that the equally badly worded 5 star reviews which all seem to have been added on 12.01.20 and you have a colossal waste of time and money, I'll be returning it and reporting the (allegedly) fake reviews.

Total joke of a book. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

This guy swallowed a thesaurus for breakfast! Massively convoluted sentences that don't make any sense plague this book leaving you totally lost and confused. Agile takes complicated projects and makes them simple, whilst this book takes a simple process and makes it near possible to understand. The narrator does a great job of reading out this gibberish.. and i feel for him. Don't waist your time! Avoid avoid, avoid!

Mixed content

The language in this book is overly complex: eg lots of use of words like “utilized” instead of used and paragraphs that are overly wordy and should be simplified. It feels like padding, and does not translate well to Audible.

Chapter 2 feels like the author has written to 20 project management software companies and asked them for blurb on their product, and then just printed as-is. It does not feel like the author is familiar with the tools he is writing about.

The content is just ok - but feels like it is loosely pulled together information that you could get from Googling “what is project management”. I want more genuine expertise and experience from an author on this subject.

Worst audiobook I have ever listened to

Far from an easy step-by-step guide. It barely sounds like English and is full of technical jargon. Probably made worse by a terrible robotic delivery that doesn't seem to grasp the concept of punctuation.

Well explained!

I listen to this audiobook prior to taking an Agile class from the author. And I'm glad I did since his 16-hour lecture/workshop was jam-packed with concepts that were new to me. Once I understood it, I realized that Agile is the way of the software industry. Yet it can be applied to most human endeavors with good results.

Waste of Money

This book sounds like it was written by a computer. I've been with Audible for almost 20 years and this is the worst book I've ever purchased. It appears that all the reviews are fabricated. They all have similar dates and are very generic. I feel cheated.

I adore this audiobook!

A very good audiobook about agile project management: you can feel he has used and has been successful in making Agile work effectively in an organization. More importantly, he keeps focus on the delivery maximum outcome to customers: he is not using Agile because this is "cool".

Very helpful and interesting audio book!

Highly recommended. This audiobook is extraordinary. The audiobook is very well crafted which was truly fascinating. Here's a great audiobook on agile project management. Great for your engineers and IT guys out there. My favorite part about this audiobook is all the case studies and examples of successful agile project management. There is even a section that addresses those that disagree with this way of completing projects. It way is more targeted towards the beginner, but it is a great audiobook to get you started learning this concept. Highly recommended!
