Summary

Suffering from bald patches thanks to a hair conditioner spiked with depilatory cream - supplied by the murderess in her last investigation - Agatha escapes to the coastal resort of Wyckhadden to allow her crowning glory to recover in privacy. A local witch provides her with hair tonic, and Agatha's lost locks begin to grow - but then the witch is found bludgeoned to death.

The elderly residents at Agatha's faded hotel seem innocuous enough, if a little odd. But, as she enquires into the murder, she turns up an alarming number of secrets....

just lovely

wonderfully vivid characters, and a fun story line, with an interesting plot twist, make this a lovely read/listen!

Couldn't put it down - as usual

Agatha Raisin appeals to the gossipy woman in all of us. Funny and entertaining. Looking forward to the next in the series.

As always, good fun

Would you listen to Agatha Raisin and the Witch of Wyckhadden again? Why?

Yes, mostly because I have already forgotten the story, and love Penelope Keith's acting.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Agatha Raisin and the Witch of Wyckhadden?

Eeerm, can't remember

Have you listened to any of Penelope Keith’s other performances? How does this one compare?

She is always reliable good - this was as good as her other performances.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, the story is very lightweight, untaxing, relaxing, and good fun, but not really gripping.

Any additional comments?

A jolly good romp!

Very entertaining

An easy listen, just like the other Agatha Raisin audible productions. Penelope Keith is a great narrator and brings out the characters.
