About this listen

Cold-blooded murder heats up Agatha's summer holiday! Agatha travels to Cyprus, only to contend with her estranged fiance, an egregious group of truly terrible tourists, and a string of murders. . .

In this sixth entertaining outing Agatha leaves the sleepy Cotswold village of Carsely to pursue love - and finds a murderer. Spurned at the altar, she follows her fleeing fiancé James Lacey to Cyprus, where, instead of enjoying the honeymoon they'd planned, they witness the killing of an obnoxious tourist in a disco. Intrigue and a string of murders surround the unlikely couple, in a plot as scorching as the Cypriot sun!

Fantastic story that keeps you guessing until the end. Amazing description of the locations and a real escapist feel. Penelope Keith is the only narrator for Agatha, she is absolutely perfect - really enjoyed this and listened from morning til night. A huge treat.

One of my absolute favourites

Penelope Keith brilliantly animates all of the characters and this entire series, I absolutely love this collection and quite often titter at the antics of Agetha raisen and her braisen personality- thank you for keeping me amused and entertained.

The characters are so brilliant

As with all the Agatha Rasin books so far, this is enjoyable easy listening.
This one is a bit tired though as the constant bickering between her and James is tedious and it is becoming hard to see why a strong minded woman like Agatha is acting so pathetically or what she even sees in the insipid hypocrit anyways.

OK but not her best

As usual, Penelope Keith brings this light novel to life with her expert rendition. All of the characters are given different voices and her storytelling style is so listenable. Highly recommended.

Another good Agatha Raisin book, excellently read

I love the way Penelope Keith narrates these tales, she makes each character individual & believable! Her acting combined with the great adventures make a great team!
