After the funeral
As usual an excellent Agatha Christi. I enjoyed it so much that I kept repeating the last 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes, as I didn't want to get to the ending! I extended the time to read the conclusion by using sleep timer so I didn't miss the final ending.

Hugh Fraser narrates perfectly
A little slower than other Christie's but still worth the listen. It's also interesting to see in 1953 how Britain was still strapped for cash after the war, high taxes, no eggs, and differing opinions towards refugees. Sounds familiar?

Enjoyed this greatly
Another in the AC cannon which I enjoyed. I’ve seen all the screen versions of it but I had Margaret Rutherford in my head. Murder at the Gallop is loosely based on this novel. Cracking simply cracking…

Another narrator please!
The most frustrating thing about this audio book was the narration. Hugh Fraser’s Belgian accent was atrocious and he was unable to complete a full sentence lurching to and from queens English to a mock Belgian accent. The policeman from ‘allo ‘allo could have done a better job. Sadly it appears Mr Fraser was selected to do numerous narrations of the Christie catalogue, such a shame.

A classic mystery
What did you like best about After the Funeral? What did you like least?
I liked the twist and turns of the story. At first you think it could be one person, then you doubt yourself and think it must be another. I did not like the narration. I thought it wasn't the best. I also thought, dispute an interesting plot, it wasn't one of Agatha Christie 's better novels.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
I really didn't enjoy the narration. I felt that many of the character's sounded the same.
Did After the Funeral inspire you to do anything?
Not really.
