Confusing

Confusing story, family members mentioned as eg 3rd cousin, step/half syblings. There are LOTS of them and I mean lots! It was difficult to follow.

Inspirational

Knowing Rev. Candance Breen personally, I was only privy to a small part of what she has revealed in this book. She is a strong devoted wife and mother that has overcome many obstacles in life. This book serves a tremendous inspiration to the many of us who have unfortunately dealt with abuse or abandonment. It shows that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

very graphic. but powerful.

Candace is a survivor. Her faith is God is inspirational. Her drive to succeed and beat the odds is encouraging. Great book. Hard to listen to at times. Thanks for sharing.
