About this listen

The Argeneaus are back! New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands returns with another sexy, passion-filled romance about everyone’s favorite vampires.

Immortal Enforcer Valerian just wants to relax. His last assignment had been more grueling than he’d care to admit, and golf has always helped him unwind. If golf course owner Natalie thinks it’s a little odd for him to tee off at sunset every evening, she’s keeping it to herself. The single mom is sexy as hell, and her little daughter Mia only adds to his delight. He knows Natalie is wary of a relationship of any kind…what will she think when she discovers he’s an Immortal? His best course of action is to woo her the old-fashioned way.

But the course of true love never did run smooth—especially for a vampire and a mortal. And when danger stalks Natalie, Valerian realizes he’s playing a game of life and death and if he loses this round, he risks losing her forever.

Lynsay keeps on giving the same but at the same time different start of their meeting & story line of the Mortal. This one mortal is chef & golf course owner is Natalie Moncreif who has a 2 yrs old daughter Mia by her bigamist husband Devlin Daniels whom died along side her parents & their son Cody 3 yrs prior.
But it's when Valerian was on the good course at the end of the night h he had to go back to retrieve His keys from the golf cart he heard a cry out & splash he found Natalie in the pond & retrieved her & this is where Valerien & Natalie's lives change....

my 1 little negative on the audio is the Scottish accent sounded more like an Irish lilt

As always I love this series. The narrator however was a mixed bag. Don't get me wrong she's great but when she tried to do a Scottish accent it was so bad it was distracting. advise would be if you can't do accents don't. there were also a few sound quality issues. overall would recommend, just be prepared for some slight distractions. 8/10

love the book
