Summary
Adventures in the Afterlife is a powerful journey of spiritual awakening; a bold quest for answers and enlightenment. The old assumptions of heaven are confronted and an expansive new vision of our continuing life is presented. After being diagnosed with cancer, William Buhlman, author of Adventures Beyond the Body, pursued answers to the mysteries of our existence after death. Confronting his mortality, he experienced profound insights into what lies beyond our physical body. Our journey into the next life is the basis for Adventures in the Afterlife. The author chronicles his out-of-body experiences and lucid dreams through the eyes of a fictional character, Frank Brooks. The insights are sometimes surprising, but a clear message is always apparent; we are powerful, spiritual beings and we shape our reality now and in the future. The purpose of this book is to prepare us for the many thought responsive environments we will experience. William Buhlman teaches and lectures worldwide on the subjects of out-of-body experiences and spiritual empowerment. Visit the author at astralinfo.org.

A must read!!!
A must read for those who are seeking unobtainable knowledge of where our loved ones have gone and to where inevitable we are going one day :) Fact or Fiction, thoroughly enjoyed it and recommended to my friends.

Enlightening
Really enjoyed this book. At first I wasn't keen on the idea that Williams experiences were written through a fictional character. But once I started listening, I was getting goosebumps throughout. Always a clear sign of a good book!

Fantastic Book, but wrong/bad narrator
Why a female narrator for a book about a man's experiences????? It really destroys the book :(
She read the book as if it was a novel, not a self-perceived event by the author.
No, No, No - Do again do right!!!

So so frustrating!
First may I state that I am a huge huge fan of William Buhlman, and have really looked forward to listening to this book. Unfortunately I am unable to bear the voice of the narrator to such an extent that I'm unable to listen to even 1 chapter of this otherwise superb work.(I must just add that I have nothing against the narrator personally, just her voice in this context. ) Therefore it is with great frustration that I've had to return this book. My only recourse is to purchase the actual book to read myself. I realise that this may seem a little petty but I really do find it inconvenient as I enjoy listening 'on the go', in the car, on my bike, in a darkened room etc..... I feel robbed!!

Excellent Book
This is a great book that requires open mind. Your own beliefs will be challenged, a lot of things that we thought of as being mystery or unexplained, all comes together in the bigger picture that starts making sense. In my life I've had only few occasions where I couldn't put the book down, this book is one of them. It is so intriguing, so beautifully written, narrator has such a gentle voice. I have been thoroughly enjoying this book from beginning till the end, I don't want it to finish, but curious if the main character will return to his physical body. Read, read, read!!!! Great book!!!

Amazing!
10/10! A lot of wisdom and insights by a nice female voice. It gives for me a lot of answers to the big questions in life. Definitely gonna listen it again and can't wait to have an OBE myself! A must listen / read!!

really terrible
Having a woman narrating the story just didn't work, for a male character it should be a man narrating. For a female character you have a woman's voice. Simple.
The writing style was also very clichéd and after a while I could see where the story was heading. After reading other OOBE literature this came across as contrived in places and didn't fit with the experiences.of other explorers. His nook was much better.

Why was this book written? It has no evidence just the story of amans journey after death disconcertingly read by a woman which was confusing. There following chapters are new age gobbledegook.. There is nothing in this book that explains clearly where the writer got his ideas
